John-David Biggs has been practising since 2006 when he qualified as a practitioner of Moativational Medicine ™, a system formulated by Richard Moat, which has been approved and endorsed by the Complementary Medical Association (CMA).
The death of his sister at the age of 39 from non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma in 2002 served as a catalyst for his enquiry into the causes of serious and chronic illness. He has always had an innate healing ability, and used it to ameliorate his sister’s pain from time to time, but only after her death did he begin to wonder if there was more to the cause than a possible genetic component and her occasional smoking habit. It was when he studied with Richard Moat that the connection of illness with unexpressed emotion made sense as a factor in her disease and death.
He has found in his practice that Emotional Context plays a significant role in every condition he has come across, particularly chronic pain and autoimmune diseases including of course MS.
John-David has always had a philosophical approach to life, practises regular meditation, pursues the study of Advaita Vedanta and follows the concept of “Mindfulness” as part of his daily life.
The introduction to the Esha Upanishad could be said to be the foundation of his work:
This is Perfect, That is Perfect,
Perfect comes from Perfect.
Take Perfect from Perfect, the remainder is Perfect.
May Peace and Peace and Peace be everywhere.
